Ugh. Dogs in this game are so freaking cute. It makes me want one. But then I remember how big of a handful Kanye is.
All of the children in my house have aged up. Stephen has the girliest face ever so I'm contemplating making him gay. We'd run into the heir dilemma again though so maybe he'll knock up someone and then find a male lover. We'll see!
Charlie's still a weird idiot. He keeps glitching and getting stuck next to one of the apple trees he loves so much. I used 'moveobjects on' to put him in the bathroom but he complained about how he couldn't get to the toilet (directly in front of him) and then peed himself. Awesome.
I reset his Sim and moved houses so hopefully that will make the glitching stop. I also moved Davina and her kids out because they were getting stuck in floors and pissing me off. Here's the last (and only) glimpse you'll probably see of them.
Davina. She's cute(ish) but worthless.
 Saturn and her giant nose.
Neptune, clad in Gryffindor colors. #nerdlyphe

raccoon sighting

Pets is really fun... until your pets get taken away for stupid things like this. Apparently I'm a negligent pet owner because Carl didn't want to socialize with anyone and Fern kept hacking up hairballs. I tried every day for over a week in my game and was never allowed to adopt my pets back. By the time it would let me, they had all been adopted by other people. :( So I had to create a new pet and then force him to live with my household.

Meet Simon.
He's BFFs with Rosalia's son Stephen.
Stephen? What? Rosalia had a child? Here, let me show you an updated version of the family tree.
I couldn't bare to lose the hot Kim genes (Davina was the only child and adopted) so I forced Rosalia to marry and birth a beautiful babe before she became an elder. Stephen doesn't look all that cute but I have hope since his mom was a delicious adult...

Anyway... Rosalia's husband is named Charlie (I think?) and he's kind of weird. He loves gardening and got the want to "Watch a Raccoon" the day I moved houses. (Our old house was glitching and people kept falling through the floors).
I didn't think it'd ever happen but a few days ago I was saw one running toward the garbage can.
LOOK AT HOW CUTE IT IS. I immediately canceled all of Charlie's actions and made him watch that raccoon.
He was so filled with joy that he wanted to "Pet a Raccoon."
The raccoon was kind of a dick though because it rejected Charlie's advances.
That's Charlie's offended face.

the sims 3 pets

After Molly got back from Hawaii we went grocery shopping. We hadn't gone in over 6 weeks and I was down to a package of spaghetti and a bag of frozen corn. We stopped by Target so she could buy lotion for her new tattoo (which is dope, btw) and I could pick up a new Sims 3 EP. I was going to borrow Nick's sister's copy, but I couldn't find any hacks to make it where my mac would believe the disc was still in so I could return it to her. Sooo I bought it. And I love it.
Meet Carl. He's Rosalia's best friend and my favorite.
Here we have Aurora holding Melinda, Carl's mate.
This is Carl and Melinda snuggling. It's seriously the cutest shit ever.
This is Carl watching TV. If he's not sleeping or getting "whacked out" on catnip, this is where I find him.

These screenshots are from the first day I had the expansion. Now Melinda is grown up and she and Carl have a kitten named Fern. The Kim family also has a black pony named Jay-Z. ;) I'll try to take some screenshots the next time I play so y'all can see how awesome the Kim family has become. I know how much you guys enjoy these updates. <3

paul kim's legacy

Does anyone remember that time I created Paul Kim on Sims game? But then he died? Well I haven't stopped playing his family. My current household consists of two grandchildren (Rosalia and Aurora) and a great-grandchild (Davina, Rosalia's adopted daughter).  What, that's confusing? It's a good thing I drew up a family tree then, isn't it!?!??!
This is Rosalia. She's super smokin' hot just like her mother. She just fulfilled her lifetime wish of becoming an International Super Spy (level 10 of the Special Agent branch of Law Enforcement). ;)
This is Aurora, who has also fulfilled her lifetime wish of maxing out her painting and writing skills.
Aaaaand Davina. She's a Stylist. I thought it'd be entertaining to go along the professions route again (Paul Kim was a ghosthunter and it was oceans of fun) but stylist is a boring profession. I have to give people new haircuts and wardrobes and as easy as it sounds, people are annoyingly picky in Riverview. >:(
Oh. This is Rosalia. Part of her job required her to find out information on other town residents and then report in on them. Normally I'd make her interview people at the park but she prefers digging in the neighbors' garbage cans in the dead of night.
Every so often she'll peek up out of the trashcan and look around to make sure she hasn't been caught (she's been arrested for this before, heheheh). It's cute cause she gets this pissed off look before she dives back into the trash.

I CAN'T HELP MY LOVE OF THE SIMS, GUYS. Just... shut up. Do not judge me. coughchelsicoughcough...

The Sims 3
After one of my Sims cheated and her husband called her out on it, the family got really weird. These two (sisters) would not stop flirting with each other and trying to make out. :\

training for the ballet, potter?

Tonight I discovered a tumblr site called Mustache Potter. I've spent quite a bit of time tonight browsing through all of the pages of Harry Potter gifs that have been fixed with mustaches. I love it. Definitely check it out.
In other news... I'M GOING BACK TO SALT LAKE CITY IN SIX DAYS. Not ten... SIX! Lisa didn't schedule me at all for next week so my last day is Sunday. So Paul and I figured, why not go back even earlier? He's going to hang streamers and balloons and it'll be so much fun.

I'm having trouble figuring out what I should take back with me though. I really don't plan to come back to Missouri unless absolutely necessary, but I don't want to take everything back to SLC with me on this trip. I'm not moving in to the dorms for another 2 months, so I'd rather not have my car filled with stealable items I could just leave in my room for a while. :\ Also, I'd like to pack a bit lighter this time around since the single rooms in Benchmark aren't very big. I'm having trouble deciding what books and movies to take back and if I should take my ukulele. My life is so hard. BUT I have a lot less clothing now so that should help out a bit. I'm betting that I could probably fit all of my clothes in a single tote. Whoa.

Next day edit: I was up until 3am packing. My clothes would not fit in one tote, but I did get everything but my dresses into a large suitcase. I've left out only what I'll be wearing the next six days.

Today I painted my nails, dipped them in rubbing alcohol and then pressed newspaper clippings onto them.
I also made vanilla cupcakes and iced them with the icing recipe that Evan's smokin-hot mom gave me. They were delicious. I took a pan of them out to the workers at my grandma's bank and a few to Shawna and Callie when we had lunch together at Washington Street.

I've been watching my computer install an update for my Sims games for the last four hours, I think. It's barely made any progress.. but without the update my game refuses to play. :\ I'm so bored and all I want to do is play Paul Kim's family.

moar sims

It is already Wednesday? Did I seriously waste the better part of my weekend and the beginning of this week playing the Sims?

Of course I did.

So Delia (Paul's daughter) is basically always pregnant. Cassie wanted 5 grandchildren and I couldn't say no to her. Plus, how can you carry on a legacy without any heirs? Hint: you can't.

Later, as one of the kids was aging up and blowing out their candles, the cake burst into flames and proceeded to burn down the entire kitchen.

THEN Cassie went to the park and made me fall in lesbians with her when she successfully charmed the snake and got a kiss from it. Not even Paul Kim was able to do that. I had to cheat to get his mummy-induced curse to gtfo.

At some point, Delia went into labor for her fifth child. For some reason her husband Christian thought running to the hospital (all the way on the other side of town) was a better idea than taking a taxi to the hospital. As he was running a notification popped up that said, "Christian wonders why it suddenly got dark," which confused me as it was already 10pm and dark. But then a huge thunderclap erupted and I freaked out and paused the game to Google what was about to happen. Turns out, whenever you get that notification, a meteor is probably about to crash down onto your Sim and kill it. Somehow Christian was spared, but as he was running back home from the hospital he came across a ton of pieces of a meteor. Ooooh.

And just in case you needed proof that this is the Kim family, here's a shot of Delia randomly shooting me some peace signs, tongue and all...

RIP Paul Kim

A tragedy struck the town of Riverview when Paul Kim passed away earlier this morning.

Paul Kim was a gentleman and a scholar, whose lifetime wish was to become a Grand Chess Master. Unfortunately, he only made it to Rank 3/5 before his passing because that jerk Sandy Harris refused to let Mr. Kim win. Paul especially liked spying on the neighbors with his telescope, as seen above. He left behind a loving wife, Cassie, and a smokin' hot daughter, Delia.

Grim coming to take away Paul; notice Cassie crying up a storm.

Sleeping on his side of the bed. Aw.

So I played the Sims for another 6 hours or so after I woke up today.. As you can see, Paul died. It freaking sucked because not only did he die before I could make him a Grand Chess Master, but he left me with two women who preferred bitching and mourning to going about their daily routines. My garden went to hell, Delia's grades dropped, and they both aged up poorly because they were in such shitty moods when their birthdays hit. Ugh. Women.

Passages from the Bhagavad-Gita As It Is I highlighted today:
  • One who takes shelter of the Supreme Lord has nothing to fear, even in the midst of the greatest calamity.
  • Either in waking or in sleep, a devotee of the Lord can never be free from thinking of Krsna's name, form, qualities and pastimes.
  • Excessive attachment for material things puts a man in such a bewildering condition of existence.
You're welcome.

My back is absolutely killing me. I've been sitting on my floor for the last four hours doing stuff for my Intro to Music Theory class. Ever since Friday night when I started working at Royal Inn again my back has been fucked upppp. Eurgh.

Earlier this evening, I played the Sims 3 for about... 6 hours. Yeah. Six whole hours. Maybe more. Paul Kim went to Egypt for a week, his daughter Delia turned into a teenager, and his wife Cassie had a nervous breakdown from the amount of gardening I was making her do. Bwahahaha.
